EIC Supervisor

Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified EI&C Supervisor for a local client in Spring Grove, PA.Roles and ResponsibilitiesChampion safety in all aspects of the positionEnsure completion of all incident investigations (near misses, injuries, observations, etc.)Maintain high awareness and compliance with electrical safety policiesEnsure environmental systems awareness and complianceUnderstand and administer company policiesIdentify and execute reliability roadmap action itemsApply standardized processes to drive consistent outcomesLead conflict resolution effortsSupport apprenticeship programs through auditing and oversightMaintain strong communication across all levels of the organizationManage employee onboarding and succession planningBuild and maintain relationships with operations, maintenance teams, vendors, contractors, and engineersCollaborate with engineering and production teams on scheduling, priorities, and workforce managementMonitor work order backlog and identify improvement opportunitiesTrack and report daily/weekly progress of scheduled workEvaluate job feedback to improve future performanceReview and approve shop spending, purchase requisitions, and invoicesManage departmental budgets and maintenance expendituresContribute to capital budgeting, including equipment upgrades and replacementsSupport outage planning and executionParticipate in on-call supervisor rotationManage deadlines and variable workloads, including 24/7 on-call support as neededDrive continuous improvement through scheduling, PM/PdM, and 6S initiativesEnsure shop equipment meets ISO standardsParticipate in root cause failure analysis (RCFA) processesQualifications and Education RequirementsJourneyman certification or equivalent experience preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial environmentProven ability to manage and lead teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with SAP, SAP-PM, or similar systems requiredAbility to work independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of safety hazards and proper precautionsAbility to wear required PPE, including respirators and protective clothingStrong mathematical and technical skills for design, layout, and estimationAbility to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and manualsValid Pennsylvania driver's license requiredPhysical RequirementsRegular use of hands, reaching, talking, and hearingOccasional standing, walking, climbing, and liftingAbility to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, or crawlingVision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perceptionMust be able to wear appropriate vision and hearing protectionSchedule Monday - Friday 7-3.
