Overview
The Security Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and managing comprehensive training programs that ensure security personnel are operationally prepared, compliant, and aligned with client expectations. This role brings experience working within a technology company environment, serves as a CPR/First Aid and Fire/Life Safety Instructor, and maintains a strong focus on training KPI performance and compliance delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver onboarding, refresher, and advanced training for security officers, supervisors, and site leads
Serve as a CPR/First Aid and Fire/Life Safety Instructor, providing certification and recertification training
Ensure all training meets BSIS, California, local San Francisco, and client‑specific compliance requirements
Deliver training aligned to measurable KPIs, ensuring completion rates, certification accuracy, and audit readiness
Train personnel on access control, emergency response, de‑escalation, customer service, and life‑safety protocols
Provide systems training and support using platforms such as TrackTik, Salesforce, and other security or workforce management tools
Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation
Conduct drills, site‑specific training, and performance assessments to reinforce readiness
Partner with Operations, HR/Recruiting, and Clients to ensure training supports operational needs and contractual expectations
Adapt training strategies to fast‑paced, high‑visibility tech environments
Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and evolving threat landscapes
Qualifications:
Experience working in a tech or corporate security environment
CPR/First Aid and Fire/Life Safety Instructor certification
Strong understanding of California BSIS requirements and compliance standards
Experience with TrackTik, Salesforce, or similar systems
Demonstrated ability to deliver training against defined KPIs and compliance benchmarks
Strong presentation, communication, and instructional skills
Highly organized with a focus on documentation accuracy and continuous improvement
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
