Laser Operator Technician - OMM

Job Description Core ResponsibilitiesMachine Setup: Load raw materials, set proper fixtures, adjust the laser beam focal point, and select the correct lenses based on material type and thickness.Programming & Operation: Input cutting parameters, retrieve or edit cut files from CAD/CAM software, and initiate the laser processing sequence.Quality Control: Monitor the cutting process, measure completed parts using calipers or micrometers, and verify accuracy against technical drawings.Maintenance: Perform daily preventative maintenance, which includes cleaning optics, replacing worn nozzles, checking process gases, and maintaining the work area.
