Logistics Associate

Logistics AssociateThe Logistics Associate is responsible for overseeing the full range of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control activities. This includes receiving and inspecting shipments, verifying documentation, storing materials, managing inventory transactions, fulfilling job pick lists, coordinating shipments, and supporting production and distribution processes. This position ensures accuracy, efficiency, safety, and flow of materials throughout the facility and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. Essential functions include receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against documentation; routing materials to appropriate departments and stocking inventory using proper organization systems; picking and delivering materials for job and sales orders; preparing and processing outgoing shipments with correct packaging, labeling, and documentation; coordinating truck pickups, carrier communications, and portal processing as required; maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records using Oracle Fusion and other systems; performing inventory tasks including cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and transaction management; operating PIT equipment safely and efficiently; utilizing Microsoft Office and internal systems for communication and reporting; generating serial numbers; maintaining a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment; following all safety protocols; supporting process improvements, sharing best practices, and assisting in training coworkers; effectively communicating and collaborating with multiple departments as needed; willingness to travel to offsite warehouse locations in company truck as needed; traveling between warehouse and main production facility in company truck (1 mile) as needed; and performing additional tasks as assigned. Preferred skills and abilities include strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors; proficiency in inventory management systems; detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities; basic math proficiency and accurate inventory record management; proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital systems; ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision; experience in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment; box truck operation experience preferred; and capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); technical school diploma or equivalent work experience; minimum of 3 months' experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations; ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks; visual requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus; strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory and shipment records; and a valid driver's license required.
