This role owns the day-to-day delivery of complex, cross-functional projects that are critical to scaling the business, integrating systems, and evolving how we operateThe Project Manager reports directly to the COO and partners closely with executive leadership and functional leaders to translate strategic priorities into well-executed projects—driving clarity, accountability, and momentum across the organizationLocation:Our company is headquartered in Nashville. While local Nashville candidates are preferred, this role is remoteCandidates based in the Nashville area may work in a hybrid arrangement, with the expectation to use a flexible workspace up to one day per weekPreferred candidates are located in the Central or Eastern Time zonesAvailability for occasional non-standard work hours is required to support collaboration with international teams, particularly in Europe. We strive to keep schedules aligned to regular businessKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Delivery & ExecutionLead the day-to-day management of complex internal projects, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectationsManage initiatives involving technology implementations, system integrations, operating model changes, and company-wide tool rolloutsProactively identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation plans and escalate issues when appropriateCollaborate with leadership in the creation of project plansMaintain clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables to support execution and accountabilityPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teamsCross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate across IT, Operations, HR, Client Service, Sales, Finance, and external vendors to align deliverables and sequencingManage interdependencies between teams and initiatives to prevent bottlenecks and execution breakdownsStakeholder Engagement & CommunicationServe as the primary operational point of contact for project stakeholdersProvide transparent, timely communication on project status, risks, decisions, and tradeoffsEnsure stakeholders have a shared understanding of goals, timelines, responsibilities, and decision ownershipProcess-Driven Execution & Delivery DisciplineApply consistent, repeatable project management processes to drive predictable delivery and cross-functional alignmentEstablish and maintain clear project workflows, documentation, and operating rhythms. Ensure project risks, dependencies, and decisions are documented and visible. Continuously refine project processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and outcomes. Facilitate retrospectives and lessons-learned sessions to strengthen delivery practicesCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure projects adhere to applicable industry compliance and regulatory standards, including SOC 2, IRS, and SEC requirementsPartner with IT, Security, Finance, and Legal stakeholders to ensure controls, documentation, and processes are maintained throughout project executionIdentify and mitigate compliance-related risks during system implementations, integrations, and operational changesROLE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience, with a strong track record delivering complex, cross-functional internal initiativesProject Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferredEquity compensation industry experience highly preferredUndergraduate degree required; advanced degree a plusExperience operating within a SOC2 company preferredExperience working under SEC and IRS regulations preferredExceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity where requirements evolve.
