How will you power what’s possible?Location: DentonShift: Night B Shift (6:45pm-7am)Pay Rate: $35.66 – $38.88Job DescriptionJob Summary/ObjectiveUnder the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, an Electronic Technician-I installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs automated systems, PLCs, Drives, Motors or industrial equipment. They troubleshoot electrical/mechanical components, ensure system efficiency, and read technical schematics to minimize downtime. Minimum requirements include an associate degree or technical training, certification a plus, strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Maintenance: Install, calibrate, and repair automated machinery, control panels, and field devices (sensors, motors, photo eyes).Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Drives, and 480V 3-phase systems.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of, repairs, and updates to wiring diagrams and system documentation. Utilization of CMMS system, SAP.Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery and systems comply with industry safety regulations and electrical codes.Education And ExperienceMinimum Educational Level High School DiplomaYears of Experience: 1-3Fields of Experience: Electrical ControlsPreferred: Associates or Technical SchoolYears of Experience: 3+Other Preferred Skills, Licenses And CertificatesUnderstanding of AC/DC electrical circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motors.
