Job Description Job SummaryThe LPN provides care to patients in accordance with their developmental needs, following the standards of the Department of Nursing and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.Core Job ResponsibilitiesPerform complete assessment data collection, under the supervision of an RN and / or provider, on all patients Assess and reassess pain. Educates the patient and family regarding pain managementObserve and identify adverse changes in patient condition and notifies appropriate RN and / or providerMaintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administrationInteracts professionally with patient and family. Involves patient and family in patient education.Cleans and operates equipment correctlyPerform other duties as required.
