CPG was founded in 1917 to provide pension benefits to eligible clergy of the Episcopal Church.The Senior Administrative Assistant reports into the Executive Assistant & Church Relations Specialist, supporting the Office of the CEO & President, providing high‑level, administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer & President. This role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.The position plays a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of the CEO’s office by managing priorities, coordinating activities, and liaising across internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and the Board of Trustees.Effective performance of the essential functions of this position requires regular in-person, on-site interaction with colleagues, both for purposes of relationship building and meaningful collaboration.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Executive SupportProvide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including complex calendar management, travel planning, meeting coordination, and expense processingAnticipate needs by proactively preparing materials, prioritizing tasks, and resolving administrative issues before they escalateSupport special projects, research, and other initiatives as assigned by the CEOMaintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive informationRepresent the CEO and executive office with professionalism and poiseCommunication & CoordinationServe as one of the primary points of contact for the CEO’s office, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including board membersDraft, review, and edit executive‑level correspondence, presentations, reports, and briefing materialsManage and prioritize incoming communications (email, phone, mail) to ensure timely and appropriate responsesCoordinate internal, external and board meetings, including agenda development, material preparation, minutes capture, and follow‑up action tracking as neededOperational & Strategic SupportHelp streamline workflows and improve administrative processes to increase operational efficiencyMaintain files, records, and document management systemsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
