Lead Installation Technician - Commercial Food Equipment Location: Sacramento, CA Pay Rate: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday (Overtime Required) Hobart, a leading provider of commercial kitchen equipment service and installation, is hiring a Lead Installation Technician in Sacramento, CA. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong background in commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration systems, mechanical installation, and field service operations. You will manage and execute commercial food equipment installations while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead installation of commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment Conduct site surveys and develop installation scopes of work Manage installation projects using CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) Coordinate scheduling with dispatch and field service teams Ensure proper startup, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction Maintain accurate forecasts, pricing updates, and documentation Perform vehicle and equipment safety inspections Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 10+ years of related experience with at least 2 years of formal technical training Experience installing commercial foodservice or refrigeration equipment Mechanical or electrical experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in commercial kitchen environments Hobart Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, 401(k), scholarship program, uniform and tool allowance.
