This role ensures that integrated systems—including auto-guidance, telemetry, connectivity, vehicle control, mapping, ISOBUS, and service—meet defined requirements and quality standards.You will drive test strategy, execution, and continuous improvement while collaborating cross-functionally with software, systems, and product engineering teams. This position combines technical leadership, people management, and program execution.This position is located in Hinckley, IL or Oak Brook, IL.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Strategy & ExecutionDefine and maintain system-level verification strategies for software releasesOversee development and execution of test cases for regression testing, new features and defect verificationEnsure comprehensive coverage of end-to-end system functionalityDrive continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and methodologiesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with software, systems, and product engineering teams to define test scope and prioritiesSupport root cause analysis and troubleshooting of system-level issuesProvide technical guidance on verification approaches and quality standardsQuality & ReportingDeliver clear, data-driven test reports and system quality metricsEnsure traceability between requirements, test cases, and resultsMaintain accuracy and consistency of verification documentationTechnical OversightProvide hands-on technical support when needed (debugging, equipment setup, test validation)Coordinate development of prototype test setups, including wiring harnesses and test equipmentStay current on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in system verificationLeadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of system verification test engineersDefine clear goals, manage performance, and support career developmentPlan and allocate resources effectively (personnel, vehicles, equipment)Support workforce planning, including hiring and skill gap developmentOperations & ComplianceManage budget planning for verification activitiesEnsure compliance with safety, ergonomics, and company standardsSupport and promote company culture and values in daily operationsExperience RequiredBachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field5+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on system verification or testingStrong understanding of electrical systems (circuits, power distribution, signal behavior)Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)Preferred QualificationsExperience leading or mentoring technical teamsExperience with off-road, agricultural, or automotive systemsKnowledge of vehicle communication protocols: CAN (J1939), ISOBUS, EthernetFamiliarity with industry standards: ISO 11783 (ISOBUS), ISO 25119 (Functional Safety – Agriculture), ISO 26262 (Functional Safety – Automotive)Experience with tools such as: CANalyzer / CANoe, Polarion, Jira, ConfluenceBackground in electronics prototyping or wiring harness developmentPrevious program or project management experiencePay TransparencyThe annual salary for this role is $120,225 - 160,300 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)What We OfferWe offer dynamic career opportunities across an international landscape.
