Draftsman/CAD Technician

Valtronics Solutions is currently seeking a Draftsman/CAD Technician in Ravenswood, WV. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience with an industry leader that provides fabrication services of engineered measurement and control systems for the custody transfer of natural gas and natural gas liquids, specializing in complete metering and analysis solutions. As a Draftsman you would be expected to: Assist with the implementation of Solid Works Utilize CADD to do the following: Analyzer Shelter interior & exterior detailed drawings Electrical drawings Piping & Instrumentation drawings Conduit Schedules Bill of Materials Meter run details Assembly drawings Work with other department personnel to obtain and verify information needed to produce detailed drawings Create and update drawings manually and through use of computer aided drafting system You must be able to report daily to the Murraysville/Ravenswood WV facility Ability to work full time Work in fast paced environment Ability to work in a team setting Qualifications Solid Works AutoCAD drafting skills Capable of making revisions to redlined drawings Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required Knowledge of basic electrical wiring a plus but not required Accuracy Reliability Company: Valtronics Solutions Location: Ravenswood, West Virginia Hours: Monday thru Friday 8 am – 5 pm. Some mandatory overtime to meet customer demands. Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience Experience: Entry-level Education: Certificate from a technical center or have obtained a minimum 2 yr college degree in drafting. Travel: None
