Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Lean Practitioners (Level 4) to support the 737 team onsite in Renton and/or Everett, Washington. In this role, you will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence by implementing lean initiatives that eliminate waste, enhance quality, and reduce process flow times. Your work will directly contribute to achieving production rate increases while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. As a Lean Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in driving Lean initiatives across the organization, both factory and non-factory environment. You will be responsible for Lean initiatives and partnering with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. This position requires a deep understanding of Lean principles and methodologies, as well as the ability to mentor and guide teams in their Lean journey. Position Responsibilities: - Facilitate Lean activities and initiatives across various departments - Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify areas for improvement - Develop and implement Lean training programs for employees at all levels - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts - Utilize data analysis and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiatives - Mentor and coach stakeholders in Lean principles and practices - Prepare and present reports on progress and outcomes to management - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Lean methodologies Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - 5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous improvement practices and tools in the workplace - 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams - 5+ years of experience leading agile teams, including formal training and coaching - 5+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment - Willing and able to work a variable shift (primarily 1st shift) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Associate's Degree (or higher) - Lean Six Sigma certification - 5+ years of experience implementing Lean principles - 5+ years of experience in teaching Lean+ tools and concepts - 5+ years of experience working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model - Experience in Toyota Production System (TPS)/Boeing Production System (BPS) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
