Apply now to be part of an innovative company at the forefront of the industry.Key Responsibilities:Occassionally perform Programming, Verification and Inspection of fire alarm systems, access control and intercom systems, along with other fire protection equipmentProgram to effectively navigate fire protection systems with our end users.Conduct testing and evaluation of new products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsConduct technical Lunch & Learn sessions to educate and inform clients on our products and servicesProvide technical support to customers as neededProvide operational training to end-usersExtend our service offerings to better meet customer needsCollaborate with Engineering and Applications department to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions and effective communication with clientsAddress inquiries and resolve technical issues, while providing quality customer careMaintain accurate and organized documentation for all technical activities, including testing, verification, inspection and client interactionsEnsure our customers and end-users have a positive experience working with MircomRead and understand engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manualsRequirements and Skills:Possess a NICET Level 2 certification is an asset, or 3 to 5 years of fire alarm experience is preferredCompletion of high school and/or trade schoolProficient in Programming experienceProficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)Thorough understanding of the high-rise market, including its unique challenges and code requirementsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Superb in planning, organization, and multi-tasking skillsCustomer-service oriented and a team-playerAccurate and detail-oriented with the ability to gather & monitor information, assess & solve problems.Other duties incidental to those described herein.Ability to travel and overnight stays as requiredResidence in central New Jersey or any of the 5 boroughs in NYC is preferred What Mircom Offers:A great working environment with opportunity for career advancementCompetitive salaryGroup Insurance benefitsCompany 401K programAt Mircom Group of Companies, we take a thoughtful and balanced approach to compensation.
