Installation/Service Technician

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an innovative leader to come in and have an immediate impact.The Installation Technician is responsible to install and assist in all phases of installing, testing and servicing/troubleshooting security, access control and video systems at customer sites. To that end, the Installation/Service Technician may interact directly with the client, client representatives, other contractors and Kastle personnel to ensure a successful installation project/service call. We are proud to be a Certified Great Place to Work with awards for being a Top Work Place with Top DE&I Practices!Range: $20-$32/HR DOEResponsibilitiesInstalls, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems accurately and on time following Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.Pulling cable, rough in/patch in, bending conduit, terminate. Identify any issues regarding timeline or progress and communicate to supervisor.Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology and internal processes/procedures.Qualifications2 or more years’ experience installing: commercial access control, video systems, low voltage, and commercial wiring/cabling Door hardware, electric and mechanical locking devicesKnowledge of building codes pertaining to construction and electrical systemsHigh School diploma/GED preferredTechnical/Trade/Vocational school certificate in electronics/electrical is desirableStrong electronics knowledge/background (AC/DC theory, series and parallel circuits, open/close loops) and ability and knowledge to use digital voltmetersKnowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocols and Cat5 technologies preferredCompany OverviewKastle Systems is the leader in managed security, with a track record of introducing innovative technologies to serve over 460M square feet of real estate globally.
