A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Must have Level 1 ED charge nurse experience • Work in 101-bed emergency department • Patient ratios: 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds • Every other weekend scheduling requirement • Cannot commit to block scheduling - scheduling must meet department needs • Float within all sections of the ED (no floating outside of ED) • Use Baxter pumps and GE monitors • Document in Cerner system • Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS • ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire • Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in ER setting • Previous Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience required • High volume experience (>100,000 visits) emergency department preferred • Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED • Previous HCA experience preferred • Follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful patient experience standards • Keep patient boards updated with information throughout visits • Navy scrubs required dress code Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency department known for exceptional teamwork and welcoming staff personalities.
