This role will be calling on accounts on a daily and weekly basis, with the main objective to deliver against Key Performance Indicators. Create new placements, increase velocity in existing placements and foster new relationships with new accounts.Market Execution (75%):Conduct daily and weekly account visits to gain new distribution, ensure appropriate shelf placement, and generate sales Manage alignment of execution with distributor counterpartsCommunicate and follow up with both customers and distributorsParticipate in key buyer meetings and business reviews for large regional accountsParticipate in key survey periods (Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Winter holidays)Participate in key blitz or focus periods, ensuring accountability of objectivesExecute key sponsorships and trade promotions in marketExecute trainings, wine dinners, promo events, and customer trainingCommunication/Feedback Loop (10% of time)Participate in weekly/bi-weekly team calls Provide input into marketing/trade/commercial planning Share in-market feedback with marketing on best-in-class execution and competitive activityCommunicate best practices and challenges related to national strategy in bi-weekly one-on-ones with managerDistributor Engagement (15%):Lead sales engagement with distributors and market teams in sales region Build relationships with Sales Reps and District Managers influencing key accounts Host monthly happy hours and events with local teams to build brand awareness and strengthen relationshipsAttend and lead presentations at Distributor General Sales MeetingsRepresent Prometheus Beverage as the voice of the market within your territoryMinimum Qualifications:Passion for people and building relationshipsMinimum 2 Years of sales experienceFamiliarity with the local market and key accounts Demonstrated ability in customer management within specific territorySolid understanding of the three-tier distribution systemExcellent communication skills, including public speaking and writing; ability to persuade and influence Solid Microsoft Office skillsPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentAbility to lift and move up to 55 lbsValid driver's license and ability to travel via car, plane, or train as neededMust be at least 21 years of age
