Interior Design Project Manager

This is an opportunity to join a team-oriented, collaborative environment where you can grow your strengths and work toward the betterment of Arizona communities.Job DescriptionConduct project management activities with a concentration in interior design to include planning, engineering coordination, procurement, construction administration, and management of projects assigned. This position is specifically directed to managing projects focused on interior moves, workspace furniture configurations and solutioning department requirements. Implements company\'s Facilities documented standards and procedures for projects. Reports and directs activities of staff support functions and requirements to support projects and budgets. The position is fast-paced with a heavy workload. Some night and weekend work is required.Responsibilities• Works with internal customers, designers, engineers and technicians to develop scope of work documents and create RFPs for various projects.• Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk) for design and relocation projects including planning, coordination, moves, punchlists and closeouts.• Maintains and verifies that project activities are performed consistently with design and construction standards and specifications.• Directs project scope to architects, engineers, designers, technicians, and contractors responsible for designing, constructing, and modifying support facilities.• Prepares, leads and facilitates project relocation plans, schedules and installations with project team and customers.• Coordinates with the Construction Project Manager on design activities including programming, design review meetings, construction documents review, site logistics, and construction administration.• Proposes and implements schedules to complete a variety of projects for facilities consistent with standards, specifications, requirements, and funds available. Provides reports on project progress and milestones.• Manages the procurement and award of consultants, furnishings, equipment, and construction contracts per procurement guidelines with direct recommendation responsibility on decisions in planning and implementation stages.• Develops and administers project manpower programs to utilize external and internal resources in the best interest of the company while meeting project assignment objectives.QualificationsExperience in facilities or commercial design, interiors, move management, construction or project management is preferred.Additional Information• Knowledge of high safety standards and work place safety practices• Exceptional customer service and people skills• Excellent verbal and written communication• Knowledge of construction and design issues related to building systems, interior design, and architecture• Ability to work in a team environment involving multiple internal departments and external resources to bring all parties together to generate decisions for project success• Ability to work some weekends and evening shifts to coordinate project activities in occupied facilities• Working knowledge of routine construction project management tasks such as RFI, submittal, change order and inspection processes• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel• Capability of coordinating multiple projects at one time in a fast pace, multi-challenging environmentEducationCompletion of Bachelors degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.Additional informationMUST BE LOCAL TO AZ*Solü Technology Partners provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
