The primary patient population consists of general medical-surgical diagnoses with a history of oncology. The nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, and managing various patient conditions./n/nResponsibilities/n/n- Provide nursing care to medical surgical patients with oncology history./n- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products as needed./n- Manage colostomy care, central line blood draws, and wound care./n- Perform isolation precautions and non-invasive airway management./n- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and optimize patient care./n/n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n/n- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient Med/Surg setting./n- Oncology Certification (OCN) is required prior to start./n- Experience in administering chemotherapy and managing ports is essential./n- BLS certification is required./n- Traveler must be able to float to similar units as needed./n/n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
