Maintenance Technician

Job Description Randstad is currently working with an automotive manufacturer that produces stamping and body structure assemblies. They are hiring Maintenance Technicians at their facility in Springfield, OH. If you are looking for a position that offers a stable work environment with the opportunity for overtime then this is the position for you.Pay Rate and Shift: $25 - $34/HR depending on experience. 2nd (2:00pm - 10:30pm) and 3rd (10:00pm - 6:30am) shifts are availableResponsibilities: Must be able to utilize maintenance hand tools safely to include but not limited to power tools, measuring tools, ladders, or any other type of tool necessary to complete maintenance tasks. Able to follow written and verbal instructions from management. Able to multitask, manage time, and able to work in a fast pace environment. Self-Starter. Request orders to be placed to replenish materials and parts when inventory grows low or is depleted. Study manufacturer manuals and blueprints and carefully follow directions when operating or setting up newly-acquired machinery. Participate and train techs in PM program. Follow Lockout/tagout procedures Understanding of Press operation. Understanding of how to perform Press Preventive Maintenance including clearance checks and inspections. Understanding of maintenance related work, such as but not limited to, Hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, robotics, fabrication. Understanding of electrical systems, symbols, reading prints, and troubleshooting. Understanding of SAE and Metric measurement systems Perform maintenance to Production equipment, forklift, crane, utilities. Safely perform basic rigging using overhead crane Welding - MIG,TIG and Stick Understanding of machining, Mill, lathe, drill press, horizontal and vertical bandsaws, shear, etc. Understanding of plant utilities. Proper use of measurement tools. EX. Voltmeter, Meg Ohm meter, dial indicator, calipers, etc. Examine moving parts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for signs of excessive wear, defects and damage.Qualifications: 3 years’ of experience in Maintenance within an Industrial or Manufacturing Environment. Associates degree in industrial maintenance or related field. PLC/Stamping Press Controls knowledge a plus.
