Powder Coat Painter (Milwaukee/Menomonee Falls)

Powder Coat Painter (Milwaukee/Menomonee Falls) Design Specialties, LLC is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom doors and screens for the fireplace industry in North America. We are looking for a Powder Coat Painter with a minimum of one year experience using Wagner or a similar system to join our team. The individual must be focused on quality, first time pass, and paint application consistency. This is a 1st shift, full time position with working hours 5:30AM to 2:00PM, with periodic overtime during our busy season. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): · Spray wash parts prior to applying powder · Visually inspect all product entering paint system, to ensure product is properly prepped · Spray powder paint to industry standards, and customer specifications · Apply consistent mil thicknesses on varying product · Maintain daily schedule flow · Inspect for quality finish after cure · Monitor bake oven operation and times · Maintain spray guns and equipment · Clean booth between color changes to prevent cross contamination Requirements include: · Must have one year or more of Powder Coat paint experience in a manufacturing environment (will consider skilled applicants who have wet-paint experience) · Basic math and measurement skills required · Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently, and up to 75 lbs. occasionally · Able to walk and stand the majority of the shift · Able to wear a full-face respirator We offer an excellent suite of benefits including a positive work environment, competitive salary, training, health, dental, and vision insurances, paid time off, 401(k) with company contribution, and performance bonus.
