Product Manager
Avtron Product ManagerAvtron is seeking to hire a Product Manager who will support the Load Bank product lines. The Product Manager will be responsible for developing strategies to drive sales and improve margins. The candidate will evaluate opportunities, prioritize and forecast new products, analyze market trends and competitive activity, and perform voice of customer and other research. Additional responsibilities are described below.Position Responsibilities:Develop and execute product segment strategies to drive sales and improve marginCreate a 5-year new product roadmap by identifying new product opportunities, evaluating sales potential, and development resources requiredDevelop product specifications for new product opportunitiesAnalyze market trends, technologies, competitors, customer base, channels of distribution, market size, and industry informationDevelop of unit forecasts and financial forecasts for assigned linesServe as a resource to sales during field visits and customer meetingsLead voice of customer research to identify new product and product improvement opportunities.Conduct competitive benchmarking activities and provide analysis to the organizationAnalyze sales and other relevant data to identify continuous improvement opportunitiesLead new product development projects, create development schedules, and deliver projects on time.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Education: A 4-year degree is required, preferably in a business or engineering field.Experience: 3-5 years of directly related professional level experience. Should have shown significant technical proficiency, potential for planning, good judgment, willingness to accept responsibility, and the ability to communicate, follow through, and give technical direction.
