*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality recipes while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace. *Duties* * Prepare and cook prep items according to recipes and standards. * Assist in preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. * Operate kitchen equipment such as hotplates, fryers and knives safely and effectively. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. * Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred. * Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal presentation. * Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
