Overview As a Staff Software Development Engineer, you will architect, design, and deliver software for implantable spinal cord stimulation systems and related clinical applications. You will provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with medical device quality and regulatory standards. You’ll drive safe, reliable software solutions that enhance patient outcomes and collaborate with Systems, Firmware, QA, Regulatory, Clinical, and Product Management. This role offers impact across device software, clinician/patient apps, and cloud/desktop systems, with emphasis on code quality, verification, and lifecycle integrity. You’ll be at the forefront of medical device软件 ResponsibilitiesLead software design and development for medical devices, clinician and patient applications, and supporting cloud/desktop systemsDefine architecture and technical direction for complex projectsDevelop high-quality, tested software following standardsParticipate in requirements analysis, system design, risk analysis, and product release activitiesEnsure compliance with FDA QSR and other quality standardsLead technical reviews of requirements, architecture, code, test plans, and docsMentor engineers on best practices and design patternsCollaborate with systems, firmware, hardware, and clinical engineeringSupport cybersecurity, reliability, and performance initiativesInvestigate field issues and implement CAPAContribute to process improvements, automated testing, and CI pipelinesParticipate in design reviews, hazard analyses, and risk managementProvide technical guidance for regulatory submissions and audits Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field6+ years of professional software development experienceExperience designing and developing complex software with C#, C++, KotlinObject-oriented design and software architecture patternsStrong understanding of Agile methodologiesExperience with Git or similar version controlStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationDemonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives without direct managementEffective communicationMentoring and coachingCross-functional collaborationC#, C++, KotlinObject-oriented designSoftware architecture patterns
