Director of Accounting | GAAP & Financial Close LeaderWe are hiring a Director of Accounting to lead GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and the monthly close for a growing, multi‑entity organization. This role offers strong visibility to executive leadership and the opportunity to build scalable, best‑in‑class close and reporting processes.What You’ll DoOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close, ensuring accurate and timely GAAP financialsLead GAAP accounting and technical accounting matters, including consolidations, accruals, and complex ownership structuresOversee journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverablesPrivate equity or JV accounting experience preferredPartner with auditors and tax advisors; support audits and annual filingsDrive process improvements, internal controls, and scalable close proceduresLead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing accounting teamSupport M&A activity, including due diligence and post‑close integrationWhat We’re Looking ForCPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting experienceDeep expertise in U.S. GAAP and financial statement close managementExperience in a fast‑paced or PE‑backed environment preferredStrong systems aptitude; NetSuite experience a plusThis is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accounting leader who enjoys owning the close, elevating GAAP rigor, and building processes in a high‑growth environment.
