Job DescriptionIn this role, you'll operate combination jetting and vacuum equipment to clean catch basins, jet sanitary and storm sewer lines, and support CCTV inspection operations. If you're safety-focused, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of essential municipal and utility infrastructure work, apply now to join our dedicated team.$41.13 per hour and up based on experience with many opportunities for pay increases and career advancement!What You'll Be Doing:Operating combo jet/vac equipment in a variety of working environments, including confined spacesCleaning catch basins, manholes, lift stations, and storm/sanitary sewer systemsPerforming high-pressure sewer line jetting to remove debris, grease, roots, and blockagesSupporting CCTV inspection crews by preparing and cleaning pipelines prior to inspectionAssisting with sewer maintenance, pipeline flushing, and emergency response workDriving combo jet trucks and transporting equipment to and from job sitesAttending daily safety meetings and participating in site hazard assessmentsPerforming routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on combo jet equipmentPreparing work areas by setting up traffic control and safety measures while identifying potential hazardsOperating equipment safely around underground utilities, roadways, and active construction areasAccurately completing Badger, Federal, State, Municipal, and Customer paperwork and inspection reportsMaintaining professionalism and strong communication with customers, municipalities, contractors, and crew members What We're Looking For:Must have a valid Class A or B CDLExperience operating combination jet/vac trucks, sewer cleaning equipment, or related industrial equipment preferredCPR/First Aid, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and OSHA 10 certification (preferred)Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred)Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours, including emergency callout work when requiredMust be willing to travel up to 25%Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditionsPrior municipal sewer maintenance, underground utility, hydrovac, or industrial services experience preferredMust be at least 21 years of age ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be Doing:Operating hydrovac equipment and performing hydrovac duties in a variety of working environments, including confined spacesDriving our hydrovac trucks (10-15% of total work time)Attending safety meetingsPerforming routine inspections and minor repairs of the hydrovac equipmentPreparing work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing potential hazardsDocumenting and reporting all Badger, Federal, State, and Customer paperwork accurately and efficiently QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:Must have a valid Class A or B CDLCPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification (preferred)Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred)Ability to work variable shifts with extended hoursMust be willing to travel up to 25%Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditionsPrior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience preferredMust be at least 21 years of age What You'll Need For Success:Customer service focused and comfortable with customer interactionEnthusiasm for being part of a safety-focused collaborative teamTechnology adeptPersonal protective equipment (PPE) providedCandidates must undergo a physical examination and complete pre-employment screenings such as a driver's abstract review and drug and alcohol testThis position is in a region that is covered under a collective bargaining agreement, the successful applicant may be required to join the union as a condition of employment
