Bilingual Administrative AssistantHours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

The Bilingual Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of on-going and developing programmatic functions which will include administrative processes, scheduling and preparing work files for inspectors.
Primary Responsibilities:Serve as initial point of contact at front desk
Answer phone and responds to voicemails and record requests
Schedule incoming work for Environmental Health Specialists
Process financial deposits
Order and receive supplies
Intake applications and plans
Process payments
Assist department in performing a variety of administrative services for Environmental Health
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 or more years of professional administrative office experience required. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Must pass bilingual assessment pre-hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment and office assistance techniques
Knowledge of business English, spelling and arithmetic
Ability to follow and apply policies and procedures
Possess ability to make arithmetical calculations and set up forms and statistical tables
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates, and general public
Must have intermediate skill in Microsoft Office Products, Excel and Word
