You will research and analyze problems and escalations to determine accurate and prompt resolution of issues, relay necessary information and status updates, address general inquiries, and provide issues resolution. Additionally, this position may provide dedicated onboarding support by delivering personalized services for book rolls and blocks of business.The Sales Support Specialist II reports to the Operations Team Lead and is based in our home office in Topeka, Kansas. SB associates work in a hybrid environment with both remote and on-site work.Partner with Sales associates to ensure service and administrative problems are identified and expeditiously resolved; serve as administration and operations subject matter expert (SME)Provide superior “concierge service” support and assistance as the liaison between sales associates/financial representatives and internal departments for identified representatives/relationshipsMonitor and track contracts through the sales cycle for high valued and re-activated producersCommunicate Security Benefit contract workflow processes with Sales associates and serve as SME for administrative and operational supportResearch pending contract issues including reviewing contracts to ensure they are in good order, following up with LOA paperwork, and checking processing for any potential contracts not in good order (NIGO)Provide weekly reporting of Submitted, Received, and Pending contracts to high-profile advisorsDeliver solutions to resolve emerging service gaps and advise constituents on trends and corresponding solutionsPartner with service and administrative associates to provide the highest level of support to sales professionalsIdentify, develop, and execute continuous improvement opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking For:2–4 years of experience in a Service or Administration environment; project management or client services experience preferredBachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferredFinancial and investment management industry experienceAbility to work independently with strong initiative, motivation, and excellent follow-throughStrong customer service and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with all levels of staff and managementWillingness to develop a broad understanding of products, services, policies, procedures, regulations, and lawsTeam player who enjoys collaboration and can facilitate the resolution of issuesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to handle multiple prioritiesWhy Choose Security Benefit?When you join our team, you’re not just getting a paycheck — you’re getting a career path full of growth opportunities, plus a robust benefits package that puts your well-being first.
