Job Type Full-time Description Miller Environmental Group Branch Manager - Operations Leadership Location: Raleigh, NC Job Type: Full Time Overview: Miller Environmental Group (MEG) is seeking a Branch Manager to lead all aspects of branch operations, drive performance, and support continued growth. This role is responsible for overseeing staff, managing financial performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. The Branch Manager plays a critical leadership role in developing employees, managing budgets and P&L, ensuring equipment and operational readiness, and directing emergency response activities. This role also partners closely with Business Development to strengthen client relationships, secure new work, and expand market presence. Depending on the branch structure, the Branch Manager may also oversee TSDF operations. Why Work for Miller Environmental Group? Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceQuarterly performance based bonusesMedical, dental, and vision coverage beginning the first day of the month following hire401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%18 paid days off annually (which increases with length of service) plus 10 paid holidaysCompany-paid life insuranceLong-term career growth with a company that promotes from within and invests in its peopleRelocation support for the right candidate Key Responsibilities:Lead, develop, coach, and manage the performance of all branch staffOversee daily operations, including labor and equipment utilization, expenses, and overall performancePlan and allocate labor, equipment, and resources to support current work and future growthManage and maintain accountability for branch budgets, financial performance, and P&L resultsPartner with Business Development on sales initiatives, proposals, client meetings, and market growth opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong client relationships; resolve service, operational, or quality concernsEnsure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and all applicable health and safety regulationsOversee fleet, facility, inventory, and equipment readinessReview job reports and ensure accuracy of billing, proposals, quotes, and documentationDirect emergency response activities, including planning, mobilization, and coordinationCommunicate performance, risks, and operational needs to senior leadershipParticipate in after-hours on-call rotation and lead emergency response efforts as required Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferredFive or more years of progressive experience in operations leadership, project management, or related field within environmental services, remediation, waste management, or industrial servicesStrong knowledge of DOT, RCRA, EPA, OSHA, and related regulationsValid, unrestricted driver's license with an acceptable driving recordProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentAvailability for varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotationSuccessful completion of a post-offer drug screen, background check, and DOT physical in accordance with applicable law Work Environment & Physical Demands:Work is primarily performed in an office setting with occasional field involvementFrequent sitting, standing, and computer useOccasional walking, bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 40 lbs, with or without assistance)Field work may involve outdoor conditions, hazardous materials, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Regular exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and operational environmentsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
