If you feel the same, then you've found your future.We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial Environmental Compliance Practice Leader to drive the expansion and long-term growth of our environmental compliance services across industrial, commercial, and municipal markets throughout Massachusetts. This is a senior, visible leadership role for a proven seller-doer who thrives on building business, expanding market presence, and scaling high-performing teams.In this role, you will capitalize on existing Fuss & O'Neill client relationships-while actively leveraging your own professional network-to introduce new service offerings, deepen key accounts, and position the firm as a leading environmental compliance partner in the region. You will have a direct hand in shaping strategy, growing revenue, and building a sustainable compliance practice with long-term career upside.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the growth and expansion of the environmental compliance practice in Massachusetts, with accountability for market penetration, revenue generation, and client developmentServe as the technical authority and trusted advisor for complex environmental compliance programs, including:Hazardous Waste ManagementStormwater ComplianceSpill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC)Wastewater PermittingEPCRA-related compliance activities, including TRI, TURA, and Tier II reportingIdentify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities, expanding services within existing accounts and opening doors with new clientsProvide strategic regulatory guidance to clients navigating evolving Massachusetts environmental requirementsOversee QA/QC of compliance deliverables, ensuring technical excellence and consistent quality as the practice scalesBuild, mentor, and lead a growing compliance team, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and professional growthPartner with firm leadership on hiring strategy, succession planning, and long-term practice developmentSkills, Knowledge and Expertise10+ years of environmental compliance consulting experience with extensive knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations.Proven seller-doer track record, including measurable success in business development and practice growth.Strong, established Massachusetts-based client and industry network.Demonstrated ability to build teams, grow revenue, and lead market expansion efforts.Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative firm culture.Massachusetts Professional Engineer (PE) license required.This is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds-collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
