Our team delivers approximately 200 projects annually, ranging from $25K to $2M+, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and professionalism.Role SummaryThe Level 1 Install Technician is an entry-level position on the commercial installation team responsible for supporting the physical installation of audiovisual systems under the direction of Lead Technicians and Project Managers. This role focuses on cable infrastructure, device mounting, equipment rack assembly, and system trim-out in accordance with AVIXA/InfoComm installation standards and Logic Integration quality standards.This is an ideal role for individuals looking to build a career in commercial AV integration with hands-on training and a clear path to Level 2 and beyond.Core ResponsibilitiesCable Infrastructure & Termination• Pull, route, and support low-voltage cabling (Cat6/6A, coax, fiber, speaker, control) per AVIXA/InfoComm cable management standards• Terminate connectors including RJ45, RJ11, BNC, XLR, SpeakON, Phoenix, RCA, HDMI, and fiber (SC/LC) per manufacturer specifications• Tone, test, and certify cabling using appropriate test equipment (cable testers, multimeters, tone generators)• Label all cabling and pathways per project documentation and Logic Integration labeling standards• Maintain proper cable separation, bend radius, and support intervals per ANSI/TIA and AVIXA standardsEquipment Installation & Mounting• Install and mount AV equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, cameras, microphones, and control devices• Assemble and wire equipment racks including rack rails, shelves, rear lacing bars, and power distribution• Trim out in-wall and in-ceiling devices (speakers, faceplates, data ports) ensuring level, plumb, and aligned installation using laser levels• Support installation of videoconference systems, digital signage, and collaboration technologyJob Site Operations• Read and interpret AV drawings, floor plans, rack elevations, and signal flow diagrams• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times• Comply with all job site safety requirements including PPE, OSHA standards, and client-specific safety protocols• Coordinate daily with Lead Technician and Project Manager on task priorities and project status• Track and report time accurately using company time-tracking systems• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness - daily trash removal, weekly deep clean• Complete punch-list items in a timely and thorough mannerTeamwork & Communication• Take direction from Lead Technicians and Project Managers; ask questions when unclear• Assist other technicians with installations, material handling, and equipment staging• Communicate professionally with clients, general contractors, and other trades on-site• Demonstrate urgency, accountability, and pride in quality of workIndustry Standards Alignment (AVIXA / InfoComm)This role operates in alignment with the following industry standards and best practices:• ANSI/AVIXA F501.01 - Cable Labeling and Cable Pathways• ANSI/AVIXA A102.01:2017 - AV Installation Standard (rack building, cable management, device mounting)• ANSI/TIA-568 - Structured Cabling Standards• ANSI/TIA-606 - Administration Standard for Telecommunications Infrastructure (labeling)• OSHA Construction Safety Standards (fall protection, PPE, electrical safety)Familiarity with these standards is a plus; training will be provided.Career PathLogic Integration is committed to developing technicians through structured career progression:Level 1 Technician → Level 2 Technician → Level 3 Technician → Lead TechnicianAdvancement is based on demonstrated skill, certifications, leadership, and consistent quality of work.
