Hardware Engineer – Vision SystemsHybrid – Cambridge, MA$130-150k salary + equityI’m working with a US-based manufacturing AI and vision start-up who are currently going through some exciting growth plans, and are recruiting for a Vision Systems Hardware Engineer to support with their customer-facing projects.This Hardware Engineer will be focused on testing different types of products and hardware for the business including off-the-shelf products as well as 3rd party hardware (cameras, lighting, sensors, etc.). This role would be making and providing blueprints to integrators/installers in the field who work on customer sites, and will be supporting on the overall design, configuration and deployment for hardware setups on a project-by-project basis.Key skills & experience:Demonstrable experience working in a systems integration, hardware engineering or solutions role with a focus on machine vision systems – should have exposure to industrial cameras, lenses, lighting and sensorsWe’re looking for someone that has experience with prototyping hardware and CAD designs, and has exposure to using CAD software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.)Ideally have worked with machine vision systems in an R&D capacity, with exposure to relevant software/platforms (Cognex, Keyence, Omron, etc.)Mechanical or Electrical Engineering education backgroundInterested?
