Senior Embedded Controls Systems Engineer

Do you want to see your control algorithms deployed in millions of commercial and consumer devices worldwide?A global leader in beverage technology and smart home appliances is looking for a Senior Embedded Controls Systems Engineer to spearhead the logic behind their next-generation thermal and fluid-dispensing systems.In this role, you won't just write code—you will own the "brain" of physical products, designing closed-loop control schemes that optimize thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and system performance.⚡ What You’ll Do:Algorithm Innovation: Design, optimize, and implement experimental and production-grade control algorithms on embedded software platforms.Bridge the Gap: Act as the critical technical liaison between the Hardware/Controls development team and the Firmware/Embedded Software engineering team.Systems Engineering Leadership: Drive functional system decomposition, Design FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and structured experimentation (DOE).Build the Infrastructure: Create and modify custom Python scripts, developer tools, and data-logging diagnostics to support parameter-based software development and automated flashing.Agile Collaboration: Thrive in a fast-paced Scrum environment, contributing to code reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional integration events.🛠️ What We Are Looking For:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Embedded Software Expertise: Strong hands-on experience implementing algorithms on embedded architectures using C, C++, or Python.Control Theory Application: Proficient with feedback, feed-forward, and model-based control schemes (PID tuning, state estimation, etc.).Physical Systems Interaction: Proven experience managing thermal and fluidic elements (heaters, pumps, valves, flow-meters, NTC thermistors).Data & Testing: Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition (DAQ) tools, and source control systems (Git/Bitbucket).Problem Solvers: Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving (8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis).
