Locum Tenens Opportunity for Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician Location: Northeast Ohio, near New Concord Start Date: November 1 Contract Length: 12 weeks Are you a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We have an exciting position available in Northeast Ohio, near New Concord, that might be a perfect fit for you! Position Details: Specialty: Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician (2 providers needed) Shifts: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts Call: 4 weekend call shifts per month Schedule: 160 clinical hours per month Support Staff: Clinical pharmacist, respiratory therapist, case manager Patient Population/Age: Birth through 21 years of age, with the possibility of treating patients up to 26 years of age for specific subspecialties Department Description: State-of-the-art Level 1 Trauma ED with 39 beds, supported by neonatologists, critical care, and orthopedic and pediatric surgery services. Newly renovated MV ED with 23 treatment rooms. EMR: EPIC Special Procedures: Sedation, intubation, airway management, trauma assessment Skills Preferred: Onboarding training, competencies, de-escalation training Skills Required: Deep sedation, advanced airway management Technology: Nitrous equipment for minor/moderate sedation, Vapotherm, Point of Care U/S (requires credentialing), Glidescope, All Level 1 Trauma Center equipment Practice Setting: Hospital Requirements: Board Certification: MD or DO degree, board-certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine License Required: Ohio license DEA: Yes CSR: Yes Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, PALS Minimum Experience: Two years or more experience in a pediatric Trauma Level 1 emergency department If you are interested in this exciting locum tenens opportunity, please contact MD Staff at or email us at .
