Senior Bartender

The Silver Crown is looking for an exceptional senior level bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional with a deep understanding of service mechanics, beer, wine and spirits, and guest experience. As a senior bartender, you will be expected to provide outstanding service while acting as a mentor to junior staff and ensuring the bar operates at peak efficiency. Who you are: You’re observant and truly care about customer service. You know when you’re trying to order a drink at a bar, and the bartender won’t make eye contact because they’re too busy…so you stand there all awkward? Yah…you hate that, and you’ll make sure our customers never have that experience. You’re happy to do it all…pour drinks on a busy night, prep work, cleaning, owning a service station on the floor, and helping with new cocktail design. You know spirits, beer, and wine, and you’re happy to share what you know with our guests and junior staff. The details matter to you. Every interaction needs to be exceptional. You’re kind and friendly towards both your customers and your co-workers. Able to work physically behind the bar, sometimes for long shifts. You’re reliable and flexible, and management will be the same. You appreciate being respected and trusted, and understand the responsibility that comes along with that. What you’ll do: Provide excellent customer service for our guests, whether on your own or as part of a team on a busy night. Lead by example. Be observant and proactive, prioritizing customer service, but also knowing how to multi-task and keep the bar in order. Assist in training new hires on our POS systems (Toast) and service standards. Maintain a strong knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, potential allergens, and complex beverage pairings (wine, spirits, and craft cocktails). Ensure all food safety and alcohol service protocols are strictly followed. Be willing and capable of closing the bar both financially and physically, ensuring that we’re ready for service the next day.
