Oracle Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing medium to large sized technology implementation projects with medium to high complexity on a global scale and/or with multi-technology components. This individual will also be responsible for working closely with the Apps Associates' PMO on internal initiatives to grow the Practice. This position reports to the Practice Director or a Managing Principle within the Apps Associates PMO.Job DutiesCollaborate with client contacts managing cross-functional client project team members to facilitate project deliveryCollaborate with Apps Associates project team members, who are both onshore and offshore, to successfully deliver projectsManage the execution of the project's activities and resources in partnership with the division technical leads and business partnersLead project teams through scoping definition and ensure all execution efforts align to project goalsLead the establishment of measurable and achievable critical success factors for the projectControl planning and execution to ensure that cost, time, and quality goals are metDevelop and maintain project plans and related project artifactsProvide view of plans and progress to dateManage against the approved budget and recommend course correction as necessary.Conduct periodic stakeholder meetings to ensure status clarity and clear expectationsAdhere to the Apps Associates project management methodologyPossesses the ability to turn troubled projects around when and if neededMake continuous improvement a priority - The Senior Project Manager should have a solid grasp of basic and many advanced project management principles, along with having experience in successfully applying and advancing those principles.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 20 years) work experience. If Associates Degree, must have minimum 12 years work experience. (focus in Business Administration or Information Systems preferred)8+ years of consulting experience, most recently in a Senior Consultant, Manager, or similar level roleLeadership of a minimum of six (6) full life-cycle implementations in the Project Manager roleGlobal/multi-product implementation experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management, organization, and collaboration skillsProficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet (preferred)Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of business productivity tools (for example: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams)Strong understanding of the cloud software development lifecycle including waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.Project Management/Technology Experience Requirements:The Senior Project Manager must have project management and/or hands on experience with at least three (3) of the following technologies:Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion, SCM, Financials)Oracle HCM or Oracle PeopleSoftOracle EBSOracle Fusion MiddlewareAmazon AWSOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Custom Software Development (within the Enterprise space)Integration technologies such Boomi, Mulesoft, Oracle Cloud Integration Service or equivalentSalesforce implementation experiencePreferred Qualifications:PMP Certification (PMP, PGMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP)
