Material Control Coordinator

Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a Material Control Coordinator to handle material control and inventory operations within a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. This role is responsible for processing material transactions, production requirements, documentation, and ERP data accuracy while supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-focused, and comfortable working in an ERP system to support daily operations and continuous improvement efforts.Job Details:Type of Employment: Full-timeLocation: Jefferson Hills, PADivision/Department: Process Equipment Division/Material ControlReports to: Material Control SupervisorKey Responsibilities:Handle material transactions, production requests, and internal cost/lead-time quotes using Microsoft D365Process parts requisitions accurately and efficiently to support production schedulesMaintain and update open production requirement and shortage reportsCreate complete, accurate job packets for Manufacturing and Assembly teamsProcess nonconforming material and work closely with Production and Procurement to resolve issuesFollow all Material Control procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirementsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Material Control functionProvide backup support to the Material Control Supervisor as neededPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted; assistance required for items over 60 lbsAbility to bend, stoop, squat, and twist as neededPreferred QualificationsExperience in manufacturing, inventory control, or material control3+ years of Material Control experienceExperience with Microsoft D365 or other ERP systemsPost-secondary coursework in computer or business systemsAbility to read engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs).Why Kurt J.
