Painter

Worthington Enterprises is excited to be hiring a Painter. This individual is responsible for preparing the product per instructions and operating various painting equipment and methods. The Painter also inspects material for any runs, sags or unpainted areas and retouches as required per specifications. The role will perform required maintenance on paint equipment as needed. This is a 1st shift opportunity and is generally 8-10 hours per day, Monday - Friday.Compensation begins at $24/hour, with opportunities for higher pay based on experience.ResponsibilitiesMust be able to paint with airless sprayerPaint with pressure potSet up equipment in paint boothsPrepares product prior to paint application.Must be able to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machine and paint guns as needed to maintain good quality and productionSafely operate a forkliftChecks all parts of paint booth for wear, malfunction, and replace as neededDaily use of hand toolsHandles paint, paint related materials and hazardous wastes properlyDesired ExperienceWorking knowledge of airless spray systemsPossess troubleshooting skillsMust be able to read and understand bill of materialInternal training per standard operating procedures and training sheetAbility to paint both standing and squatting throughout the day
