Sous Chef
Bluebird, the French bistro in Chapel Hill that was voted Best New Restaurant 2022 by the N&O readers and Best New Restaurant in Orange County by Indyweek, and received six \Best Of\ awards from Chapel Hill Magazine, is looking for a strong Sous Chef.
The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in professional kitchens with dome particular experience in French cuisine.
Restaurant Manager for Chapel Hill French Bistro
The team at Bluebird is in search of a Restaurant Manager to work alongside our GM, Chef de Cuisine, and Director of Operations. We would like to meet someone who:
is internally driven to create peak guest experiences
can find, motivate, and maintain a team of committed professionals

possesses a hunger for classic bistro cuisine and a thirst for French wine and cocktails
has the confidence to teach, and the humility to learn
is psychologically and physically prepared for the challenge and exhilaration of working in a restaurant

Qualifications for this position include and are not limited to the following:
High school diploma/GED required.
Multiple years of service experience in fine dining or casual fine dining.
Proficiency with Point-of-Sale software.
Able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment.
Capable of multitasking under extreme pressure.
Ability to work on feet for ten hours a shift.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds at a time.
Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead onto high shelves.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

With our indoor and outdoor dining spaces, open kitchen, and copper-top bar, we provide guests with a memorable dining experience that is at once comforting, casual, and world-class.
Pay: $50000.00 - $55000.00 / year
