We offer a collaborative work environment and opportunities for professional growthKey SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineeringExperience: 3-5 years of experience in electronic component development, such as ECU, amplifier, infotainment, app development, HVAC, etc. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of hardware and software development processes. Evaluation Expertise: Familiarity with hardware and software evaluation cycles. Vehicle Integration: Experience in integrating components into vehicles (a plus). ResponsibilitiesComponent Development: Lead the development of electrical components (switches, wireless chargers, ECUs, infotainment systems, HVAC, etc.) from concept to production, working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Schedule Management: Develop and manage component development schedules, including operating procedures and Start of Production (SOP) timelines. Data Gathering: Research and gather necessary data (lesson learned, part specifications, benchmark data) to create Design Concept Sheets (DCS). Design and Modeling: Create master sections and keep-out surfaces in CATIA V5 to represent packaging hard points and design check sheets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate styling surfaces. Wire Specification: Develop wire specifications based on part specifications and vehicle integration requirements. Coordinate with electrical wiring harness groups, bench testing, and vehicle evaluation teams to ensure performance. Documentation: Initiate, track, and maintain engineering discipline documents (DRBFM, PESS, EBOM). Change Management: Initiate and manage engineering changes through the ECI system, reviewing changes with program managers and cross-functional teams. Design Reviews: Schedule and lead design reviews with cross-functional teams and management. Release data and drawings into the system. Drawing Review: Review drawings prior to peer review to ensure completeness and accuracy. Issue Tracking: Maintain engineering open issues, track changes, and assess cost impacts. Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers for tooling samples, part lighting reviews, and formal approvals. Technical Leadership: Lead weekly design reviews and regular supplier technical meetings. Launch Support: Provide support for launch activities, including RP builds, E-bench testing, retrofit vehicles, and production at manufacturing locations. Continuous Improvement: Champion and participate in VA/VE initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs. Why Join Us?
