What You’ll Do - MachiningPrograms, sets up, and operates CNC milling, lathe and other machinery to support fabrication of LPEPS products, tools and fixtures under limited or no supervisionUtilizes CAMWorks and G-Code to program and control machine operations Utilizes Solidworks 3D model for nominal part geometry when dimensions are not referenced on print Perform daily machine shop 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain) Help define and perform Preventive Maintenance for machineryFollows all safe work practices & safety rules All other duties as assigned by the Sr Manager of OperationsWhat You’ll Do - Manufacturing TechnicianMechanical and electrical assembly of LP EPS permanent magnet electric motors, controllers, housings, printed circuit board assemblies and related cables and wiring harnessesSupport engineering test by setting up and aligning LP EPS electric motors and controllers on DynamometersSupport manufacturing engineering with validation of new processes and new capital equipment or prototypes for New Product Introduction (NPI)Documentation in support of AS9100 QMSAll other duties as assigned by the Sr Manager of OperationsWhat You Need (Qualifications)AS Degree in STEM or related field or 5+ years of related experienceWorking knowledge of Solidworks 3D CAD SW under limited or no supervisionAdvanced working knowledge of CAMWorks and G-Code to program and control machinesAdvanced working knowledge of GD&T principlesBasic math, fraction, geometry and trigonometry to interpret 2D and 3D models and orthographic prints to fabricate parts Perform and document calibrated dimensional and mechanical inspections using flexible steel scale, calipers, micrometers, dial indicator and protractor etcAdvanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Extreme attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to lift 20lbs. Ability to stand for long durations. Highly Desirable Competencies (Bonus Qualifications)Advanced working knowledge of SolidWorks to design and manufacture fixtures and tooling Working knowledge of IPC standards for electronic assemblies, cable and wire harnesses and printed circuit board assemblies Working in an AS9100 QMS environmentPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Salary and Pay TransparencySalary range for this position is between $67,500 and $95,000. Base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and all applicable company benefits.
