Forward Deployed Engineer

You'll work directly with customers to implement AI technology and build required customizations, becoming their primary technical resource for AI-powered automations. The hiring team is moving quickly and has a strong preference for candidates who can start soon.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end implementation and execution of high-impact customer engagementsGather customer requirements and determine the best way to apply AI automations to existing workflowsBuild customer-specific features and integrations that become part of the core productCollaborate closely with engineering, product, customer success, and enterprise customersDeliver production-ready solutions in a fast-paced startup environmentWhat we're looking for2-4 years as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Backend Engineer with customer-facing experienceExperience at a VC-backed AI startup or other well-funded tech companyStrong proficiency in Python and TypeScriptExperience building production software using LLMs and AI agentsDemonstrated experience building and deploying customer-facing technical solutionsExcellent technical documentation and communication skills, comfortable with technical and non-technical stakeholdersBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM disciplineAble to work on-site five days per week in San FranciscoNice to haveFormer founding engineer or early startup engineerExperience building AI automations and enterprise integrationsPassion for solving customer problems over internal platform developmentComfortable with a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities
