Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting 4x10-hour shifts available on days (7:00–17:00) or nights (19:00–5:00), with an optional 5x8 schedule Some weekend shifts required No floating required Epic EMR required for charting Charge RN responsibilities every shift Requirements Active NY RN license currently in hand Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience Recent MedSurg leadership experience within the past year required Experience with staff scheduling and coaching required Epic EMR proficiency required 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained Additional Information Serves as charge nurse every shift, providing leadership and oversight to the Med/Surg Tele unit Responsibilities include staff scheduling and coaching in addition to direct patient care duties Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible First-time travelers are welcome to apply All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration American Traveler Job ID P-689025.
