Associate Attorney

Overview We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join a growing litigation team. This role focuses on handling matters related to civil litigation, personal injury, civil rights, and criminal defense. The position offers an excellent opportunity for junior to mid-level attorneys to gain hands-on litigation experience while working closely with senior attorneys in a collaborative environment. Job Roles And Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents while ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Propound and respond to civil discovery requests as part of the litigation process. Take and defend depositions and assist with case preparation. Assist in preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings. Support representation of clients in both state and federal court matters. Negotiate settlements while advocating for the best interests of clients. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and conduct legal research. Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining organized and accurate case files. Communicate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and clients regarding case progress. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active bar admission in good standing. Junior to mid-level litigation experience preferred. Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills. Excellent negotiation and advocacy abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
