Job Description Core Role: Support + ExecutionA Project Coordinator handles the administrative and process-heavy parts of projects, so PMs can focus on client relationships, problem-solving, and high-level decisions.Day-to-Day Responsibilities1. Job Setup & DocumentationCreate job folders (digital + physical)Upload and organize:Architectural drawingsShop drawingsFinish selectionsHardware specs2. Submittals & RFIsTrack shop drawing submissions and approvalsSend and log RFIs to GCs/architectsFollow up on outstanding approvals3. Production CoordinationPush approved jobs to engineering/productionTrack:Release datesLead timesMaterial status (veneers, laminates, hardware)4. Scheduling SupportWork with Install Manager to:Schedule deliveriesCoordinate install datesConfirm site readiness with GCs5. Change Orders & Cost TrackingDraft and log change orders (especially installer-directed ones)Track approved vs pending changesHelp PM keep budget aligned6. Project Tracking & ReportingMaintain job status reports:SubmittalsProductionInstallCloseoutPrep weekly updates for PMs or leadership7.
