Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION Sustaining Product Engineer supports the design, analysis, and continuous improvement of NOV downhole and above ground horizontal pump systems. This role involves hands-on problem-solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and implementation of practical solutions to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.Education & Experience QualificationsBachelor’s Degree: Mechanical Engineering0 to 5 years of work experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills.3D CAD/Modeling experience (Creo/Pro-E, SolidWorks, etc.)BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIESCollaborate professionally with team and peers.Demonstrates self-driven initiative and curiosity in identifying and solving problems.Taking responsibility for work ethic and actions.Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures.Respecting diversity.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIESCommunication, able to express relevant information appropriately, clearly, and correctly.Learn and operate multiple NOV specific software/programs.Applies creative thinking to develop innovative and effective solutions.Applies fundamental engineering principles to troubleshoot and improve designs and processes.An understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, testing)Experience with centrifugal pumps is preferred
