Overview
In this role you will support the defense-focused supply chain strategy and proposal activity. You will act as the SCM focal point coordinating with cross-functional teams to shape subcontractor responses and improve proposal processes. You’ll drive alignment between sourcing, engineering, finance, and business development to win competitive bids. The position offers impact across program startup, execution, and lifetime through continuous improvement and collaboration.

ResponsibilitiesServe as the main SCM liaison between ESS, cross-functional partners, and internal teamsShape and solicit Subcontractor RFPs/RFIs to meet Prime requirementsAssist ESS SCM in proposal reviews and strategic partnerships to support Position to WinReview proposal artifacts (Price Analysis, Technical Evaluation, Competitive Down-Selects) to craft a Procurement Basis of Estimate (PBOE)Lead continuous improvement of proposal processes and standardize documentation and reportingStreamline Subcontractor Pre-Authorization To Proceed (ATP) activities
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience6+ years of professional experience3+ years in Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Subcontract Administration/Management, Negotiation, or Category Management)Previous supply chain management, project management, and business development experienceStrategic communication (written, verbal, presentations)Strong business acumenAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentProposal supportSubcontract administration/managementControl Account Management
