Pre-Litigation Associate

Schwimer Weinstein LLP is looking an experienced attorney to work on our pre-litigation team handling personal injury cases; and potentially tenant rights and employment cases depending on experience. Candidate will work with a managing partner and handle claims from intake through resolution, including conducting the early stages of litigation such as drafting of complaint and initial discovery, on select matters.  Candidate must have experience with intake, client communications, medical coordination, acute understanding of medicine including complex injuries and causation, liability investigation, expert retention, demand letter drafting, clam negotiation, medical lien reduction. Candidate should also have experience mediating matters and preparing mediation briefs. Candidate should have the ability to work on a team, lead meetings, make strategic decisions, delegate and manage tasks, think creatively, work hard, self-start, with strong legal research, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience working with Clio and tracking time is a plus. Must have a great memory. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
