Responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice for the EKG stress testing area and managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment.Essential Functions include but are not limited to:Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients.Initiates Code Blue and implements life-saving measures, per BLS/ACLS protocolAssesses patients in an ongoing manner, per protocol.Responsible for maintaining customer friendly atmosphere.Responsible for assessment of the patient with telemetry monitoring.Models and reinforces behavior consistent with goals for teaching the patient, communicate patient status to appropriate members of the healthcare team, and provides support to the patient and family, as needed.Participates in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient careEnters patient procedural and supply charges appropriatelyEducation & Qualifications:Active New Hampshire nursing licenseAmerican Heart Association BCLS requiredAmerican Heart Association ACLS required within 30 days of hireGraduate of Accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferredTwo years of recent clinical experience in an acute setting cardiovascular experience requiredTwo years of previous charge nurse/supervisory experience requiredFive years of cardiac nursing experience is preferredMBA preferred*BenefitsParkland Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
