At Kendall, you will be valued and supported, your ideas will be heard, your voice will matter, and you'll work alongside incredible people who care about your success.Role Summary: Reporting to the Switchgear Manager, the Switchgear Project Assistant is responsible for assisting the Switchgear department by executing administrative and project-related tasks across all phases of project lifecycle.Exciting work you will do:The essential duties and responsibilities of the Switchgear Project Assistant will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Enter and coordinate customer bid requestsAssist in preparing competitive quotations for small to mid-sized projects; submit RFQs to appropriate vendorsPrepare electronic job folders in business systemsOrder entryGenerate RGAsExpedite and track shipmentsPrepare billing reconciliations; assist in resolving disputesCommunicate effectively with customers and vendorsAssist with carrier claimsFollow up with vendors on case requestsFollow through on all outstanding items with customers and vendorsOther duties as assignedCompetencies you possess:Customer FocusTeamwork and collaborationResults, Action OrientedDisplaying Technical ExpertiseAccountability and responsibilityWhat you'll need: Experience: Entry LevelEducation: High School Diploma or GEDAnalytics/Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, etc)Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task; ability to work with limited supervisionCross-functional skills: Ability to work well in a team environmentCommunication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skillsPhysical, Mental and Visual Skills: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
