Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join a growing pediatric program in Central Florida. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a state-of-the-art women’s and children’s pavilion with extensive subspecialty support and modern facilities designed to provide the highest level of care to children and families.Position HighlightsAcademic involvement opportunities, including resident and fellow teaching and remote academic affiliations.Dedicated support from 2 APPs, 2 MAs, an RN, and floating support staff.24-hour EEG technician coverage for pediatric and neonatal continuous video EEG.Outpatient clinic located conveniently within the same facility as the pediatric inpatient floors.Excellent clinical trials team and robust research opportunities with access to data and multi-site collaborations.Access to extensive subspecialty services onsite including Pulmonology, Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Urology, Rheumatology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine.Inpatient support services including Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, MFM Consults, PICU, General Surgery, and Neurology.Facility Overview849-bed hospital, the 5th largest in Florida.More than 200,000 ER visits and 43,000 admissions annually.Over 2,100 trauma visits and 3,000 deliveries per year.Care provided in a newly opened Women and Children’s Pavilion with:47-bed pediatric medical/surgical unitPediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)The area’s largest Level II NICU22-bed Pediatric Emergency DepartmentLocation – Lakeland, FloridaLakeland is a thriving community located in the heart of Central Florida, just one hour from Tampa, Orlando, and Walt Disney World.
